Heatherdene is a single storey detached house set in 1/3rd acre of woodland garden. There is ample parking for up to 3 vehicles.
There are 2 bedrooms (one kingsize one twin) and the separate Dining Room has a comfortable Double Futon / Sofa.
The spacious Lounge has TV,DVD and Video and features a charming woodburning stove for which fuel is provided.
The house is all electric and this is also included in the Tariff.
Patio doors lead to the garden from the lounge.
The kitchen features all the usual appliances including microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer etc.
The fully tiled 4 piece family bathroom has an electric shower and a full size bath for a relaxing soak.
The garden comprises mature Caledonian Pines and silver birch interspersed with raised beds which are planted with herbaceous perennials and bulbs.
There are also abundant native plants such as blaeberry, heather and broom.
Birdfeeders hang from the trees for you to use and it does not take long for the indigenous bird population to come visiting!
'Contemplation' is a new addition to the Garden. She is a carving by Andy Mclachlan created at Carve Carrbridge 2009. We hope you like her too.
Red squirrels use the garden on a regular basis coming in from the nearby woods and one or two will entertain you with their antics all year round.
Some fresh herbs in season are available outside the kitchen for those keen cooks.
There is WiFi broadband for those who wish to bring their own laptop and the phone is available for incoming calls.
A Travel Cot, High Chair and Nursery Fire Guard are available.
Linen is provided and up to 2 well behaved pets are welcome.
Smoking is permitted outside the property.
Secure storage is provided for bikes, skis, sledges and even a kayak or two.
